Join our growing young adult community for an incredible night of worship with Markis Zarate and local Portland area musicians. High School Seniors and Young Adults are all invited to praise Jesus as a family, hear an empowering word, and share a meal together. Our Event starts at 7:15PM at the Holden Center in Gladstone. Young Adult Ministry Leaders Blazers Game - December 14, 2013

Local church young adults ministry pastors/advocates and leaders will be attending the Portland Trail Blazers NBA game against the Utah Jazz on Thursday December 14. This is a team building night for Oregon Young Adults. Invite Only.

Speed Puzzle Competition Hosted by ROC Fellowship - January 27, 2024

Speed puzzle event hosted by ROC Fellowship Young Adults is coming January 27. Put together a team of four and join this awesome night of food, friends, and puzzle-fun. Young Adult & Big Lake Staff Winter Retreat - February 9-11, 2024

You are invited to an amazing weekend up at Big Lake Youth Camp filled with friends, food, worship, connection, and tons of outdoor adventure. This weekend is attended by young adults and Big Lake Camp Staff and is a highlight event of the year. Get your snow-gear ready as you’ll be arriving at the camp via a snowcat pulling inner tubes. The majority of the lodging is A-frame style cabins. There is also an option for those who are interested in skiing/snowboarding on Sunday at Hoodoo Resort right next to the camp (not included in price). Price is $100 per person and registration will open up in mid-January, watch for updates on IG.

North American Division Young Adult Ministry Advisory - February 27-28, 2024

Oregon Young Adult pastors/leaders will be attending the yearly North American Division Advisory Meetings at the division office to give input into the future direction of young adult ministry in the church. Please keep these meetings in your prayers and share any thoughts and ideas with use via IG DM on what you would love to see happen for young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and beyond.

Creators Lab - March 23, 2024

Oregon Young Adults and Oregon Conference Department of Communication are joining forces to host an empowering and inspiring weekend for young creatives. Are you a creative? Are you a content creator? Are you wanting to use are gifts to impact the world and grow the church? Would you like to figure our how you can do ministry and get paid? This weekend is for you and will include Ted-talk style presentations and keynotes from experts, skill development workshops, opportunities to create content onsite, and tons of networking opportunities. The lab will be held at the Holden Center in Gladstone. More info coming shortly.

North American Division Young Adult L.I.F.E. Tour Stop - April 19-20, 2024

The goal is a weekend event to celebrate young adult ministry, expose attendees to a church that is actively seeking to reach, love, and empower young adults, and offer training for church members and attendees on how to better support the life and spiritual journeys of young adults. The tour stop will be hosted at the Pleasant Valley Church in Happy Valley Oregon. If you are a young adults and/or have a passion for young adult ministry in a post-pandemic world, this weekend is for you. Like all Oregon Young Adult events there will be lots of food and plenty of time to connect and meet new people. We are highly encouraging all Oregon Conference Young Adult Ministry local leaders to be at at this weekend. More info come soon.

Thrive Leaders Conference - May 1-4, 2024

Oregon Young Adults believes in growing leaders who change the church, marketplace, and the world. Thrive is yearly leadership development opportunity. If you every attended “Catalyst Conference” it’s a similar experience that includes keynote messages, worship, breakout sessions, and tons of networking opportunities. Thrive Conference is hosted at the Bayside Church just outside of Sacramento, CA. Big Lake Youth Camp Summer Camp

Adventist Christian Fellow Institute: Seattle - June 28-29, 2024

ACF Institute is a gathering for North American Division Adventist Christian Fellowship Leaders and Public Campus Ministers for networking and leader-training that is not available at union or conference leadership conventions. Each year the ACF Institute is held on a public campus to train and equip young adult ministry leaders in the specialized focus of serving and empowering students on public university campuses. Oregon Young Adults will be helping to lead this event and welcomes ministry leaders from Oregon Conference who are interested in this ministry area. More info coming soon.

Big Lake Staff Training Support - June 17-30, 2024

Every year an incredible team of young adult leads one of the most dynamic ministries in the Oregon Conference - Big Lake Youth Camp. Have you thought about working at camp? Oregon Conference Young Adult Camp Meeting - July 16-20, 2024

Join our Oregon Young Adult family for five days of dynamic worship, powerful speakers, deep relational connections, and community impact. Attendees and participants come from all across Oregon, SW Washington, and the Pacific Northwest. Sabbath typically sees 500+ in attendance. If you want to meet a whole lot of people in one place this is the event for you. Watch for regular updates as we get closer to July.

Launch and Grow a Young Adult Ministry From Scratch Workshop - August 2024

Bring a team ans join Oregon Young Adults for a highly practical training on how to launch, sustain, and grow a young adult ministry at a local church or in a local community. This “nuts and bolt” workshop will give you the framework and tools you need to build an empowering community for your young adults. Pastors, ministry leaders, and young adult ministry advocates are all invited to attend. This training is in collaboration with the North Pacific Union and North American Division. Middle School & High School Bible Camps - September 2024

Oregon Young Adults believes in the raising up the next generation of Jesus-followers and leaders. Each September many young adults help lead and support the the Bible Camps that happen at Washington Family Ranch in Central Oregon. Reach out to us or event organizer Pastor Jason Calvert (Associate Youth Director) if you are interested in supporting Bible Camps.

On This Rock 2024 - Oct 11-13, 2024

On This Rock is a climbing event that is hosted by the Common Ground Church and partners next to Smith Rock in Terrebonne, Oregon. The event focuses on increasing accessibility, experiencing belonging, and considering Jesus in the climbing space. Attendance is typically around 300.
